Research Associate for Teaching, Research and Knowledge Transfer Development and Digital Teaching Architectures (m/f/d) Your opportunity at HSZG Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) sees itself as a responsible employer that promotes the development of its employees' potential on the basis of equal opportunities and family friendliness. It offers an environment that motivates and enables and recognises outstanding performance. The commitment of everyone involved and openness to change are essential. Would you like not only to teach, but also to actively shape university teaching, research and knowledge transfer? An exceptional role awaits you: At the Chair of Business Administration, particularly Production Management and Logistics, you will shape the next generation of academic teaching and applied research: digital, modular, practice-oriented and forward-looking. You will develop complete teaching and learning architectures rather than individual teaching materials, ranging from lectures, exercises and seminars to digital learning modules. Your objective is to design courses that are didactically consistent, digitally usable, scalable and capable of long-term further development. A research associate is sought to help develop digitalised, competence-oriented and practice-oriented university teaching in business administration, particularly production management and logistics. A key focus is the conception, development and complete elaboration of integrated teaching and curriculum architectures. This includes the systematic development, digitalisation and continuous further development of courses, modules and degree programme components. The aim is to create modular, didactically consistent and digitally usable teaching formats that can be used in face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching and developed further over the long term. A particular focus is the complete preparation of teaching materials: lecture scripts, slides, exercises, seminars and digital teaching formats, including didactic speaking scripts and multimedia content. Teaching materials must also be prepared in English where required. The postholder will also support the SCO-TTi research group (Science Center Oberlausitz - Technologie - Transfer - innovativ) in academic development, research and knowledge transfer activities. These include, in particular, developing research questions, contributing to funding applications, reviewing literature and technologies, preparing academic content and supporting publications, academic reports and knowledge transfer projects with practice partners. The position thus combines innovative teaching development with applied research and technology transfer at the intersection of business administration, production, digitalisation and future working environments.

  • Develop and fully elaborate courses in general business administration, production management and logistics,
  • Prepare structured teaching materials (lecture scripts, slides, exercises and seminars),
  • Develop lecture scripts ready for oral delivery to ensure consistent lecture delivery,

  • Deliver teaching amounting to 4 SWS (weekly teaching hours during the semester),
  • Contribute to degree programme development (e.g. Digital Business & Engineering),
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners (companies and colleagues),
  • Analyse market, technology and education trends,
