For our client, a bank in Geneva, we are currently looking for 2 documentary credit officers ( A junior and a senior candidates)
Description
- Process and issue documentary credits in compliance with international standards and internal guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of letters of credit and related documents.
- Verify and validate documentation for compliance with UCP and ISBP guidelines.
- Monitor and manage the lifecycle of credit operations from issuance to settlement.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to credit activities.
- Provide expertise and advisory support on documentary credit matters.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Profile
- Solid knowledge of documentary credit operations and international banking regulations.
- Proficiency in French and in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
