Team Lead – Core Electronics & Silicon | Munich, Germany (On-site)
I'm partnering with a leading European autonomous systems company developing advanced unmanned platforms for defence, security and industrial applications.
They're looking for an experienced Electronics & Silicon Engineering Leader to take ownership of the technology strategy across embedded computing, semiconductor systems, communications and power electronics.
The role:
- Define and execute technology roadmaps for silicon, embedded AI computing and electronic systems
- Lead the selection and evaluation of processors, SoCs, AI accelerators and semiconductor technologies
- Drive electronics architecture and component strategies across multiple autonomous platforms
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to bring technologies from concept through to production
- Lead and develop a technical team, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on engineering decisions
What they're looking for:
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering, semiconductor technologies or embedded systems
- Experience with processors, SoCs, AI accelerators or advanced electronics architectures
- Proven experience in technology roadmaps, component selection and supplier strategy
- Understanding of semiconductor supply chains, hardware lifecycles and technology evaluation
- Previous technical leadership experience, ideally within aerospace, defence, robotics or other complex hardware environments
