In this role, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the Supply Chain Strategy for an assigned category, ensuring that the purchasing organization's targets are achieved. Your workplace will be in Baden, Switzerland, and you will report to the Global Category Manager Components. Your Responsibilities Achieve defined Supply Management targets for the assigned category, primarily related to quality, logistics, and total cost.Develop and implement purchasing strategies with a focus on optimizing total cost, product quality, and logistics performance.Ensure environmental aspects, such as the CO₂ footprint of our products and value chain, are integrated into category strategies and decision‑making processes.Regularly review supply risks and implement appropriate mitigation actions to ensure a resilient supply chain.Manage supplier evaluation, qualification, development, pricing, and framework agreement negotiations.Drive the continuous improvement of the supply chain, with a focus on reducing lead times and optimizing logistics processes.Represent Supply Management in product development projects and support product ramp‑up through serial release and stable supply.Lead part relocation projects until first article inspection approval and handover to the buyer organization.Initiate and drive drawing modification requests in collaboration with Engineering and Design.Support the buyer organization in managing supply escalations. Your Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Design, or a related field).Proven experience in Value Chain and/or Supply Chain Management within an industrial environment.Advanced education or professional qualifications in Value Chain and/or Supply Chain Management are an advantage.Strong negotiation skills.Fluent in English; German language skills are preferred.Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.Hands‑on and results‑oriented mindset.Willingness to travel up to 20%.
