Overview In this role you will own and optimize local hosting services across Accelleron’s Swiss locations, ensuring reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operations. You will act as the technical authority for on-premises infrastructure and collaborate with factory IT, global IT, and cybersecurity teams to align standards and policies. You will drive lifecycle management, governance, and continuous improvement while supporting factory growth and engineering environments. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing/engineering setting with a clear impact on business continuity and resilience. Leistungen / Benefits Competitive compensation Performance-related bonus opportunities Supportive culture focused on trust and accountability Global Parental Leave Program Employee Assistance Program Health and well-being initiatives Verantwortungsbereiche Own and improve local hosting services (servers, virtualization, storage, HPC, data center) across Swiss sites with SLA-driven operations Act as technical authority for hosting platforms including capacity planning and governance Manage incidents, root-cause analyses, escalations, and operational risks Ensure security, regulatory, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity compliance Interface between local operations, global IT, cybersecurity, and service providers Define and maintain lifecycle, capacity, refresh, and modernization roadmaps Document infrastructure and governance processes; drive standardization and automation Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, and vendor governance Lead or contribute to hosting-related projects from design to handover Collaborate with cross-functional teams for reliable, scalable hosting solutions Support factory, infrastructure modernization, and site expansion initiatives Drive automation and operational excellence across hosting landscape Manage service providers, contracts, budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews Ensure effective collaboration between local providers and global IT teams Support and lead projects from solution design through implementation and handover Coordinate with infrastructure, network, application, cybersecurity, and external partners Zentrale Anforderungen Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable technical field Strong expertise in on-premises hosting, virtualization, storage, and data center technologies Experience as a Service Owner or in managing infrastructure services with SLAs and KPIs Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity IT service operations, incident management, and vendor management experience; ITSM knowledge is a plus Budget planning, cost management, and enterprise procurement experience; SAP knowledge is beneficial Experience with infrastructure standardization, automation, and operational excellence Experience supporting manufacturing or engineering environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in global IT environments with international teams and service providers Fluent German and good English (minimum B2) High ownership, reliability, and willingness to support sites across Switzerland stakeholder management structured and reliable team player on-prem hosting virtualization storage technologies
