About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to join our growing Data Centre team in Frankfurt, supporting the delivery of large-scale, technically complex Data Centre developments. You will work closely with clients, contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams, taking responsibility for mechanical and/or electrical packages from early design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
This is a client-facing opportunity where you will combine your technical MEP expertise with project leadership, helping clients successfully deliver complex projects while playing an important role in the continued growth of Accenture Construct's Data Centre business across Germany and Europe.
What will you be doing:
- Lead the delivery of mechanical and/or electrical packages across major Data Centre projects.
- Manage projects across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, designers and client stakeholders to maintain successful project delivery.
- Monitor programme, cost, quality, safety, risk and technical performance.
- Provide technical input into MEP strategy, design development and constructability.
- Manage project change, reporting, governance and key client communications.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and specialist supply-chain partners.
Ideally you will bring:
- Experience delivering mechanical and/or electrical packages across complex construction projects.
- Data Centre, mission-critical or technically complex project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Experience in a client-facing project management, consultancy or delivery environment.
- A strong understanding of the project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to commissioning and handover.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
- German language capability is preferred alongside strong English communication skills.
