Buyer – Public Procurement (100%) – Permanent Position
For one of our clients based in the canton of Geneva, we are looking for a Buyer – Public Procurement for a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee public procurement procedures in compliance with current legislation. Prepare, draft and publish calls for tenders. Ensure full follow-up of acquisition procedures, from needs analysis to contract award. Support various departments in defining their needs and drafting specifications. Ensure compliance of procedures with applicable regulations, notably the AIMP and AMP. Analyse received bids and participate in their evaluation according to defined criteria. Maintain regulatory watch and advise stakeholders on best practices in public procurement. Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cost optimisation. Profile
Higher education in purchasing, public administration, law, economics or an equivalent field. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of regulations and best practices in force in the Geneva area, particularly regarding public procurement (AIMP and AMP). Proven experience in managing tender procedures. Knowledge of the construction and building sector is a valued asset. Excellent analytical, writing and negotiation skills. Organisational skills, rigor and autonomy.
