Investment Associate | Energy Transition & Renewables | Munich
I'm working with a leading energy-transition investment manager building out its Munich investment team from Associate level. A specialist renewables and infrastructure investor with significant capital to deploy and a long track record across wind, solar and storage, investing directly as a principal with full ownership of the deal lifecycle from origination through to exit.
What you'll do:
- Execute renewable energy and energy-transition investments end to end, from origination through to close
- Build and own financial models, valuations and returns analysis (LBO / DCF)
- Lead due diligence workstreams and manage external advisors across each process
- Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Support portfolio management and value creation across existing assets
What you'll need:
- c.3-5 years in renewables / energy-transition / infrastructure investing, or sector M&A / project finance advisory looking to move buy-side
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution
- Fluent German and English (essential)
- Munich-based or willing to relocate (essential)
- Genuine interest in renewables and the energy transition
