Investment Manager – Private Equity Firm | Munich

Our client, a dynamic European private equity firm based in Munich, is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join their team. Specializing in acquiring and transforming underperforming companies in carve-out situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities in carve-out situations.
• Work closely with the operational team to transform acquired businesses into stand-alone entities.
• Develop financial models, perform due diligence, and assess value creation potential.
• Manage relationships with portfolio companies and key stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and assist in fund-raising efforts.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in private equity.
• Strong track record in investing in operational turnarounds or carve-out situations.
• Fluent German speaker with excellent communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management.
