1. Payroll Platform & Systems Engineering Maintain and optimize payroll-related platforms and integrations (e.g., Workday, vendor payroll systems).
Manage core platform capabilities including:
Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and support
Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities
Application portfolio maintenance and lifecycle governance
Support system enhancements, releases, and configuration changes aligned to regional payroll requirements.
Serve as the technical point of contact for payroll vendors across EU & APAC (e.g., Deel, TMF, Ascender, A8).
Coordinate integration design, file transmission, and issue resolution across multiple providers.
Monitor vendor performance, SLA adherence, and data quality across payroll interfaces.
Support onboarding of new countries/vendors and transition of services into centralized support models.
3. Security, Access & Compliance Governance Execute and manage:
Periodic access reviews (SOX/compliance aligned)
Role-based access controls and segregation of duties
Support compliance frameworks such as:
VRAP (Vendor Risk / Audit processes) and related controls
Partner with IT Security and Audit teams to ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
4. Production Support & Operations Provide ongoing L2/L3 support for payroll systems and integrations across global regions.
Troubleshoot and resolve:
Payroll processing issues
Data discrepancies between systems and vendors
Drive root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
5. Global Payroll Solution Ownership (EU & APAC) Support payroll operations across multiple countries with varying regulatory requirements.
Enable scalable solutions for:
Multi-country payroll processing
Vendor standardization and consolidation
Contribute to global payroll strategy and transformation initiatives.
Identify opportunities to:
Automate manual processes
Improve operational efficiency and support scalability
Maintain documentation of system architecture, integrations, and operational procedures.
