Strategic Advisory and Project Management DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a Consultant/ Independent Contractor that will provide strategic advisory, project management, and executive communications support to enable the achievement of the Chief Commercial Officer's (CCO) strategic priorities.
This is a freelancer 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Locations : Munich Essential Requirements BA / BS required, business concentration ideal but not required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred Strong experience (3-5 years) in Top Tier management consulting (Mc Kinsey, BCG, Bain) with relevant project experience.
This is a must.
Preferred experience (1-3 years) in life sciences, healthcare, or FMCG industry; experience in a global or international context highly preferred Critical and strategic thinker with solutions-oriented mindset and excellent analytical skills (problem structuring and problem solving) allowing to handle complex/ partial information Proven leadership and project management skills, including cross-functional projects with significant and visible business impact, able to operate successfully at all organizational levels and influence (senior) stakeholders towards recommended decisions/ actions Excellent executive communication and presentation skills able to influence without authority and achieve project objectives in a multi-layered matrix organization Agility in shifting between various projects and initiatives, comfort with high-paced environment and complex challenges, ability to re-prioritize quickly to keep focus on value-generating activities Proven self-starter and independent thinker with high standards for excellence, innovative mindset, accountability, and compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, etc.) Fluent in English and German, proficiency in an additional language is preferred Scope of Services The Consultant/ IC will: Lead and support strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective planning, stakeholder alignment, governance, and execution.
Conduct strategic analyses and develop structured recommendations to address complex business challenges and support executive decision-making.
Facilitate collaboration among senior stakeholders across functions and geographies to drive alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of key objectives.
Prepare high-quality executive materials, including presentations, briefing documents, strategic recommendations, and Board-level content for leadership decision-making and external engagements.
Synthesize complex and/or incomplete information into clear insights, key messages, and actionable business recommendations.
Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, governance, and execution in support of the CCO's strategic objectives.
Provide flexible support for priority strategic initiatives, ad hoc analyses, executive requests, and time-sensitive business challenges.
