Job Tasks & Coordination of development and certification tests on aircraft
- Development of a flight test program for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
- Development of flight test cards
- Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
- Preparation and conduction of ground and flight tests
- Data reduction and qualified real-time and post flight analysis
- Planning of aircraft modifications and overall schedules
- Preparation and conduction of onsite and offsite campaigns
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Familiar with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- International mind-set
- Good communication skills and team work ability
- Good knowledge of MS-Office software
- Flexible, prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation
- Flight background is an advantage
Education / Experience
- Master degree in aeronautical engineering or similar
- Working experience in the aeronautical industry in flight testing (min. 5 years)
- Flight test engineer CAT 1 training i.a.w. Part 21 or equivalent experience
- Min. 100 hours of flight test experience is an advantage
- Experience with development and certification flight testing
- Experience with aircraft systems, power plant, avionics, flight physics and respective flight testing
