Head of Global IT & Business Applications

pExclusive Mandate On behalf of our client, an internationally active, medium-sized pharmaceutical company in the region of Schaffhausen, we are seeking a Head of Global IT Business Applications. /p pThis position combines end-to-end responsibility for global IT with direct ownership of ERP and Business Applications. We are looking for a leader who understands the business behind the technology - connecting processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and other corporate functions while translating business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions. /p h2Tasks /h2 ul liLead the global IT function, ensuring stable and secure IT operations and business continuity /li liOwn the ERP and Business Applications landscape, including governance, system performance and continuous improvement /li liDefine and execute the global IT strategy and transformation roadmap, focusing on standardisation, process harmonisation and business value /li liStrengthen IT governance, cybersecurity and compliance across the organisation /li liLead and develop the global IT team and manage external service providers, budgets and investments /li liAct as a trusted business partner to executive management and key functions, ensuring close alignment between business priorities and IT /li /ul h2Requirements /h2 ul liBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field /li liStrong IT leadership experience, including global or multi-site responsibility /li liProven track record of combining broad IT leadership with direct ERP / Business Applications ownership /li liSolid experience in IT strategy, digital transformation and business process optimisation, with a sound understanding of cybersecurity, governance, compliance and AI /li liA pragmatic and hands-on approach, with experience leading international teams and external service providers /li liFluent in English, German is an advantage /li /ul h2Benefits /h2 ul liGlobal role with broad responsibility /li liHigh level of autonomy and impact /li liLean organisational structure with short decision-making paths /li liInternational and respectful working environment /li liClose collaboration with senior management /li liAttractive salary package /li /ul pstrongReady to take your career to the next level?
