We’re Hiring: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer – Bicep (Permanent Role)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer – Bicep to join a reputed client on a permanent basis . This is a senior-level opportunity for a cloud engineering professional with strong expertise in Azure infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
⏱️ Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Employment Type: Permanent
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep (ARM-based IaC) following reusable and modular patterns
- Build and manage end-to-end Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code lifecycle management , including validation, testing, and controlled releases
- Drive DevOps & DevSecOps best practices across environments
- Ensure Azure solutions meet security, reliability, and scalability requirements
- Integrate security, compliance, and quality gates into deployment pipelines
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational best practices for production workloads
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams for continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot build, release, deployment, and infrastructure issues
✅ Required Skills
- Advanced expertise in Bicep (ARM-based Infrastructure as Code)
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Service Connections, Boards)
- Strong expertise in CI/CD automation using YAML pipelines
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (Compute, Networking, Storage)
- Strong knowledge of Git version control
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell / Bash
- Fluent Dutch language skills (mandatory)
⭐ Good to Have
- Exposure to Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes / AKS
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor / Log Analytics
- Experience with DevSecOps & security automation
- Exposure to ITSM-aligned service delivery
