As Lead D365 Functional Consultant, you will take ownership of the design, governance, and delivery of Finance solutions within D365 across all global operations of a listed Swiss manufacturing company.
Sitting within the design team, you will ensure that Finance-related solutions are aligned across projects, business functions, and technical domains while supporting the organization's ERP strategy.
This is a permanent, hybrid role, with weekly site presence required.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Finance processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the company.
- Serve as the primary functional lead for Finance-related ERP initiatives and associated systems.
- Functional responsibility includes: GL, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, Production Control, Fixed Assets
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into solution designs, ensuring alignment with overall ERP architecture, governance standards, and business objectives.
- Drive consistency across projects by coordinating design decisions between consultants, delivery teams, and stakeholders.
- Review proposed changes to shared functionality and assess impacts across processes and workstreams.
- Challenge requirements and solution proposals to ensure they deliver long-term business value and remain cost-effective.
- Collaborate with the ERP Solution Architect to ensure architectural consistency, alignment with Microsoft's product roadmap, and effective management of system risks and dependencies.
- Support data migration planning and identify potential conflicts with existing solutions, customizations, or future platform updates.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions in a consulting, lead consultant, or solution ownership capacity.
- Proven experience leading Finance workstreams within international ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes, ERP best practices, and enterprise solution design.
- In-depth knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, Production Control, Fixed Assets
- Working knowledge of Power BI and embedded reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams, mentor consultants, and drive governance standards.
