As a Bloomberg engineer, you will impact the real world by solving complex problems in an ever-evolving market. Our engineers sit at the center of finance and tech where people and machines will challenge your ideas and push your engineering skills to the next level.

We work in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment that rolls new software out daily. Our code is used every day by leading business and finance clients across the globe that help shape the financial markets.

As a working student, you’ll learn more about the Bloomberg Terminal and gain a deeper understanding of technology and finance. Working with us, you will have the opportunity to lead on projects under the mentorship of full-time software engineers. In addition to your projects, you’ll participate in technical training, social events, and volunteering! We’ll also give you the flexibility to balance your work with us alongside your studies.

• Take ownership of projects under the guidance of your mentor
• Be a collaborative member of your team
• Have a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Be an excellent problem solver

You’ll need to:

• Have programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python
• Be working towards a degree in Computer Science
