Research Assistant (R&D)
Location: Marburg, Germany (Onsite)
Salary: Up to €45,000 DOE

Your Responsibilities:
General tasks in the field of R&D:
- Development, validation and verification of new immunoassays for manual use as well as for automated application on the companies or other fully automatic machines and preparation of technical documentation
- Optimisation, validation and verification of existing immunoassays for manual application as well as for automated application on the companies or other fully automatic machines and creation of technical documentation
- IVDR-compliant creation or updating of the technical documentation of new developed or existing manual or automated immunoassays of the companiesr submission to the notified body.
- Training in the context of product transfers.
- Supervision of pupils in the context of internships or students in the context of bachelor's and master's theses .
Laboratory Organization
- Ordering of reagents, consumables and clinical examination materials
- Management of samples
- Cleaning, maintenance and functional testing of laboratory equipment according to maintenance schedules
- Maintain a clean and tidy laboratory environment while respecting applicable safety guidelines
Specific tasks in the area of R&D:
- IVDR: Preparation and review of technical documentation before submission to notified body
- Project management for special and time-limited research projects
General cross-departmental tasks:
- Scientific and technical support of the production and QC departments in case of technical problems.
Specific cross-departmental tasks:
- Supporting production and QC in case of technical problems
- Provision of technical information for customer inquiries
- Representation of the company in the R&D area at external company activities (trade fairs, congresses, etc.)
Your Qualifications:
- Completed university studies in biology, chemistry, medicine or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
- Very good written and spoken English and German.
- Practical laboratory experience in a diagnostic environment is desirable.
- Structured, self-reliant way of working.
- Team spirit and interdisciplinary communication skills.
