Adecco is currently looking for an experienced Security Systems Field Engineer (m/f/d) for an international technology and manufacturing client in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.
This is a hands-on technical position focused on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical security systems in a complex, fast-paced industrial environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems and other low-voltage security equipment
- Test, configure, program and commission new security devices and systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high operational availability of security infrastructure
- Conduct site surveys for new installations and support the development of system designs and installation plans
- Prepare material lists and coordinate the technical requirements for installations
- Collaborate with Security, IT, Operations, Production, Real Estate and other internal teams
- Maintain technical documentation and system architecture records
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and cost efficiency
- Support and conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) surveys and inspections
Your Profile
- Several years of hands‑on experience with technical / physical security systems
- Strong experience with CCTV / video surveillance and access control systems
- Experience with intrusion detection systems and other security devices
- Very good understanding of low-voltage electrical systems
- Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Business-fluent English is mandatory
- German language skills are NOT required
Nice to Have
- Experience or certifications with Gallagher, Genetec or Commend
- Networking knowledge and/or CCNA certification
- Experience in manufacturing, corporate or large-scale industrial environments
- Previous experience with TSCM
