We are currently recruiting for one of our client·s, a global leader in sustainable automotive technologies ⚡🚗 As part of their growth, we are looking for a Senior System Defect Resolution Engineer (H/F/X) to join their team in Luxembourg on a 9-month contract.Your profile:Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automotive, Mechatronics or similar)Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive system development, ideally in power electronicsStrong understanding of system interactions (hardware / software / vehicle)Proven ability to lead complex technical topics and drive them to closureCustomer-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsHands-on experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe, INCA, JIRAKnowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and high-voltage systemsFluent in English (German is a plus)Your main responsibilities:Perform return-part analysis and identify root causes of defects in power electronic systemsDefine and drive system-level defect resolution strategiesCoordinate cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Testing)Plan, execute, and analyze advanced test campaigns (bench, HiL, vehicle level)Participate in technical reviews and customer discussionsAct as a technical interface with clients for defect resolution topicsTrack and report defects using tools such as JIRA and monitor KPIsTravel up to 25% when required
