Web Frontend Software Engineer - Real Estate (f/m/d)

You will join Team Agentina, one of three Real Estate product development teams at Kleinanzeigen that are evolving our offering for both Real Estate professionals and seekers. The main focus of our team is to improve the value we deliver for professional Real Estate customers.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager of the team.

This is a hybrid role, and our lovely new office that combines modern amenities with the charm of Berlin’s roaring 20s is based in Charlottenburg.

What you’ll do:

• Be part of a welcoming and multicultural team, working in an Agile environment

• Collaborate closely with backend and mobile engineers, as well as product managers and UX designers

• Develop high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces for our professional customer platform

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards

• Wow our customers with how great everything looks and feels

• Work with the team to constantly evolve our ways of working

• Be an active part of our Engineering community to make sure the discipline keeps advancing throughout the company

Who you are:

• You are fluent in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript

• You have 3+ years of experience working with React or Next.js projects – you would call yourself an expert

• You have 3+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, and you understand why testing matters

• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

• You know how to read and work with existing codebases

• You always aim for bringing the best UX possible to our customers

• You have worked in Agile environments before

• You are fluent in English, the main human language used throughout our work environment
