You will report to the Team Lead of the Data Platform team in the Data & Analytics organisation of mobile.de.

What you’ll do:

1. Join our diverse and multicultural Data Platform team to shape the future of data in mobile.de.
2. Collaborate with a motivated team of Data Engineers to build a resilient, future-proof cloud Data Platform, allowing internal users to create and consume high-quality data products.
3. Participate in code and architecture reviews, exchanging insights and driving important decisions.
4. Partner with Product, Data Science, and Analytics experts to understand their needs, and use modern technologies to develop solutions that empower the creation and management of high-quality data products.

Who you are

1. You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
2. You have 2+ years of experience building scalable, reliable data platforms and solutions that are used by internal customers or relevant data engineering experience and a passion to learn.
3. You have good working experience with Spark, Kafka, GCP Services like BigQuery, Delta.
4. You believe in „You build it, you run it“ principles and have the relevant skills.
5. You are a team player and can approach problems from the fundamentals and enjoy collaboration with a diverse set of colleagues.
6. You are proficient in Scala/Java, or Python, and feel at ease with SQL.
7. You have knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as Github Actions.
