KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, steer and plan projects by using an integrated, holistic and long-term event marketing approach in collaboration with the team lead and 1st line peers.
- Direct and manage specific campus venues, warehousing and event services in assigned scope.
- Leadership of event production unit and vendor network.
- Direct external suppliers/agencies to meet quality, budget and timing objectives.
- Develop and drive creative ideas, concepts and strategies that fulfill department purpose.
- Plan and manage project budgets within the given targets.
- Independently direct assigned projects while making sure that team lead is updated at all times and execution is fully aligned with brand strategy and creative direction guidelines.
- Ensure that overall project targets are met.
- Fulfill objectives of briefs, taking into consideration the short, medium and long-term company and business objectives.
- Build the brand and the business of the brand.
- Supervise and implement Event Sustainability Guidelines.
- Shape and implement Event Marketing Procurement Policy.
- Oversee the creative concept of all projects to ensure world-class standards of the adidas brand image, reviewing and critiquing projects during project development process.
- Coach and mentor team members on development of leading creative ideas.
- Provide creative direction to external suppliers & agencies.
- Pro-actively reach out to Brand Design team to ensure creative alignment and Identity compliance.
- Share work and ideas with team members to cultivate Design/Concept best practices.
- Expose Events team to outside creative inspiration.
- Develop ideas and show behaviors that contribute to a leading and creative Global Events team.
- Staff most suitable persons in direct report position(s) in alignment with team lead.
- Set individual objectives, targets and guidelines for direct reports.

- Language: English: excellent / German: excellent / Third language: advanced.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Creative and/or event education/experience.
- Minimum 8 years experience in SGI or events on managerial level.
- Proven track record in event management.
- Experiences in installations, exhibitions, interior design and merchandising.
- Marketing/Communication/Design experiences are an advantage.
- Passion for adidas, its mission and core belief.
- Passion for sports and sport culture.
