OUR NEED – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Adikteev is looking for a skilled business law expert with a strong background in data privacy who’s also interested in taking on the role of Data Protection Officer.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract Review, Drafting, and Negotiation

• Review and draft business contracts or IT contracts for different internal teams (sales, product, etc.) ;Regularly negotiate data privacy agreements (DPAs, NDAs) ;

• DPO role

• Employee trainings on data protection matters (annual training and onboarding sessions)

• Collaborate with internal teams to regularly review and update privacy related documents (registers, processes, etc.)

• Review security documents with the cybersecurity expert

• Legal Advisory

• Provide expert advices and guidance to internal teams, mostly IP/IT law with a focus on Data Privacy law

• Provide expert advice and guidance on new products or features

• Engage in strategic thinking related to new product launches

• Other responsabilities

• Assist on any other legal questions, such as lease agreements, termination letters or services agreements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business law
• At least 5 years experience as an in-house legal counsel or lawyer in business law
• Strong expertise in data privacy, notably excellent knowledges on GDPR and CCPA law.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English
