The Opportunity

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.

We are seeking a Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join our Employee Relations (ER) team. The ER Team supports 23 countries across EMEA.

Reporting to the ER Manager in the UK, you will help drive business outcomes while ensuring fair and respectful treatment of employees.

As a Senior Employee Relations Consultant, you will manage complex employee relations cases, conduct investigations, support separations, and contribute to M&A due diligence and projects.

We’re looking for someone with proven ER experience in fast-paced environments, strong customer focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.

What you’ll do

  • Provide employee relations (ER) support across the Central Region, with a focus on Germany and Switzerland.
  • Consult on disciplinary actions, involuntary terminations, and reorganizations from an ER perspective.
  • Coach and partner with managers on performance management, employee issues (e.g., return from leave, wellbeing topics), and conflict resolution, including mediation where needed.
  • Advise HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on ER matters and policy implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Employment Legal team, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and HRBPs on ER and employment law topics.
  • Conduct and support investigations into employee grievances or complaints, partnering with key stakeholders as needed.
  • Support managers in planning and communicating employee separations, including Settlement Agreements.
  • Drive ER processes related to the Works Council in Germany, in partnership with the Labor Relations Consultant.
  • Ensure compliance with Adobe’s case management and reporting standards.
  • Participate in regional and international ER projects.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to resolve ER issues.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Expertise in German employment law (Swiss and broader employment law knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations across fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Proven track record in reorganizations, M&As, involuntary terminations, performance management, and investigations.
  • Effective communicator with strong influencing and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and drive data-informed decisions.
  • High resilience, strong ethics, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
  • Experience working with Works Councils in Germany.
  • Strong case planning, tracking, and management skills.
  • Fluency in German & English is required
