Overview
As a Software Engineer on the Brand Visibility team, you will own end-to-end feature development for an AI-first product that helps enterprises optimize their digital presence in AI-driven discovery. You’ll work across backend services and data pipelines, shaping the spec-driven lifecycle and implementing robust integrations. You’ll partner with customers to prototype solutions and contribute to AI engineering standards. This role offers the chance to impact how brands appear in AI agents at scale.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Build and ship features for Brand Visibility across backend services and data pipelines
- Design features independently from spec through validation
- Manage the full spec-driven lifecycle with validation criteria
- Configure AI harnesses and implement guardrails to prevent mistakes
- Design and implement API- and MCP-level integrations, including data from SEO/GEO platforms (e.g., Semrush)
- Collaborate with customers via technical discovery and rapid prototyping
- Encode architectural knowledge for AI agents and teammates
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI engineering standards
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3+ years of software engineering experience or a relevant university degree with equivalent experience
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/Node.js or Python
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (Codex or Claude Code) across the development workflow
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO concepts and their impact on content visibility in traditional and AI-powered experiences
- Experience with cloud platforms and solid DevOps fundamentals
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into actionable specs and prototypes
