Sales Manager – Mid Market Sales (m/f/d)
Job Purpose: Provide overall direction, strategy, and leadership to Sales associates covering German Mid-Market accounts to achieve Sales goals. Expect excellence and professionalism from all Sales associates in the performance of their functions. Be part of the Sales management team by understanding and managing the Sales role in achieving the Sales goals of the Mid-Market team. Act as a thought Leader in the Sales management team to provide strategic direction and achieve outcomes through leading others by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading sales representatives in the Mid-Market segment within an assigned region
- Responsible for direct sales of our product and service portfolio in the Mid-Market segment
- Planning and execution of acquisition initiatives to win new customers
- Monitoring the sales process
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, including pricing, and tracking them through to contract closure
- Coaching employees in organizing and delivering presentations to prospects and customers
- Ensuring compliance with the strategic sales process in line with the Challenger approach
- Sales reporting using a sales information system
- Conducting sales meetings
- Responsibility for forecasting and quota achievement in the region
- Participation in trade fairs and other events
What we’re looking for:
- University degree or equivalent in education or relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of above-average successful sales experience in complex products and services within the BPO HR environment
- Leadership experience would be an advantage
- Experience working within a KPI-driven environment
- Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, professionalism, and business planning capability
- Excellent networking and presentation skills, able to demonstrate “what the ideal solution looks like”
- Fluency in German and English
