We are Hiring IT Functional Analyst in the KYC and Account Opening Domain
Employment Type: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Elicit business requirements for the eKYC platform together with users and management from CLM, AFC and FO.
- Have overall financial services acumen to connect requirements from regulatory policy changes/language to business requirements to IT requirements.
- Refine business requirements and align globally across all 7 locations in the CE, Ger, APAC and US regions.
- Write Epics and User Stories and refine them with the Development Team.
- Conduct Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
- Provide close support to all end-users (functional support plus stakeholder management).
- Prepare senior management slides with strong communication capabilities to clearly package the problem statement to both IT and Non-IT stakeholders, and influence via email, Word, and PowerPoint effectively.
- Present key timeline, milestones, and status updates in absence or conjunction of a Product Owner to senior management and hold strategic discussions independently.
- Take full ownership of production issues until resolution, coordinating with all required parties in the bank.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional expertise in the described role (or similar).
- Confidence to speak up, run meetings in absence of team members, and self-organise.
- Can-do attitude with a natural tendency to own topics end-to-end and deliver changes into production on time.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to ensure close alignment with all stakeholders across departments and different seniority levels up to MD.
- Strong and clean skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to perform under pressure and face senior management stakeholders if needed.
- In-depth knowledge of the KYC and account opening process in the Wealth Management business, particularly regarding offshore business and complex, high-risk client structures.
- Good knowledge of globally applicable AFC and KYC standards and regulations, plus in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements in Switzerland and/or Luxembourg.
- Avaloq Core Banking knowledge is a plus.
