Hauptaufgaben

• Zentrale Schnittstelle im Lohnabrechnungsprozess zwischen Adtran und externen Dienstleistern
• Ansprechpartner für lohnbezogene Anfragen und Beratung der Mitarbeitenden
• Sicherstellung der korrekten monatlichen Gehaltsabrechnung
• Gewährleistung eines hohen Serviceniveaus bei abrechnungsspezifischen Fragen
• Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorgaben und interner Richtlinien
• Beratung zu Spezialthemen und Mitwirkung an bereichsübergreifenden Prozessen
• Administrative Aufgaben inklusive Risikobewertung und Maßnahmenentwicklung
• Unterstützung bei Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen
• Abstimmung lohnbezogener Finanzkonten mit der Finanzabteilung
• Durchführung interner und externer Prüfungen
• Unterstützung verschiedener Projekte

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung, idealerweise als Industriekaufmann/-frau
• Weiterbildung im Bereich Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung wünschenswert
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Personalwesen mit Schwerpunkt Entgeltabrechnung
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Arbeits-, Steuer- und Sozialversicherungsrecht
• Sicherer Umgang mit Abrechnungssystemen, vorzugsweise DATEV
• Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position, idealerweise im internationalen Umfeld
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit
• Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse

Principle duties and functions

• Act as a central interface in payroll processing between Adtran and external providers
• Serve as main contact for payroll inquiries and advice
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Maintain high service standards
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal standards
• Advise on special topics and contribute to cross-functional processes
• Handle administrative tasks including risk assessments
• Support financial closings and data handovers
• Reconcile payroll accounts with Finance
• Perform internal and external audits
• Support projects related to legal changes and process improvements

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

• Completed commercial training, preferably as an industrial clerk
• Additional qualification in payroll accounting is a plus
• Several years of HR experience focusing on payroll
• Deep knowledge of labor, tax, and social security laws
• Proficiency with payroll systems, preferably DATEV
• Experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment
• Strong communication skills
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented work style
• Fluent in German and confident in English
