R&D Engineer Hardware & Software (m/f/d)

Aufgabe

Design, develop and implement software test solutions for diagnosis, calibration and verification of high-precision measurement devices. Collaborate with hardware, software and maintenance teams to ensure seamless interchange of knowledge and experience for hardware and software. Analyze the test outcome with statistical methods to improve the results and ensure the reliability for our customers and manufacturers. Describe the functionality in support documentation. Support our customers, service staff and manufacturers in case of difficult maintenance situations to ensure the best possible support.

Qualifikation

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in electrical or software engineering or equivalent
• Good experience in C++ programming and object-oriented concepts
• Good communication skills and team player
• A passion for precision and quality, with a proactive attitude towards finding and implementing solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiar with statistical methods, e.g. Cpk, Cp
• Good written and spoken German / English knowledge
• Self-organized
