- Design and develop software for the Advantest IC Tester Platform Maintenance Framework.
- Solve challenging technical problems and turn complex requirements into smart, maintainable solutions.
- Work closely with developers, product experts, customers, and application teams to understand real-world use cases and create innovative solutions.
- Take ownership of features from concept to implementation and help shape the future direction of the platform.
- Build high-quality software using modern development tools, AI-assisted development workflows, and engineering best practices.
- Develop primarily in C++ on high-performance Linux systems.
- Be part of an agile team where collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Experience in software development with C++.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, software quality, and maintainable code.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Linux/Unix development, databases and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell.
- Experience with modern software development practices, including object-oriented design, Java, version control (Git) and agile development methods.
- Experience with large-scale software systems, modern development environments such as VS Code or Eclipse and AI-assistance.
- German language skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (typically less than 5%).
