The position
Apply your acquired skills during your studies and complete your final thesis with us.
Many converter topologies with DC link require precharging, which can be achieved through various methods, from a simple series resistor to a dedicated control using power semiconductors. The critical aspect in this application is the behavior at voltage or power limits. Due to nonlinear components and aging, even simple systems become complex challenges. The aim of this thesis is to derive characteristics and dependencies to obtain robust information on the limits and adaptability of these applications.
