FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER NPP ENERGY TRANSITION (M/F/X)

The position

You will provide immediate technical support, advice, and prepare quotations (including calculations) supporting the sales force in order to sell products and applications that create an appropriate solution to the customers‘ requirements and budget, in compliance with the company’s sales strategy.

Main responsibilities

1. Provide immediate technical support to the sales force within the sale process.
2. Prepare the sales quotations (including the calculations) for the customers in coordination with the Account/Sales Manager.
3. Join and support the Account Manager or Sales Manager during sales preparation, presentations to customers, and/or negotiating processes.
4. Check final customer purchase order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify/solve any discrepancies.
5. Check commercial and financial terms and conditions.
6. Responsible for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
7. Set up the customer project in terms of schedule and work packages for preparation of technical documents (descriptions, drawings, etc.) in order to start the production process.
8. Handle customer requests/questions about signed contracts and check changes against the agreed quotation.
9. Develop and maintain good internal and external working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
10. Maintain efficient and reliable quotes administration.
11. Ensure updates within the CRM system.
12. Ensure contract review and project follow-up.
13. Follow up on milestones and completion of work packages.
14. Compliance with the Company Quality, Environmental, and Safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (graduate) or equivalent level of competence.
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience within a relevant industry, preferably completed with commercial experience.
3. Good knowledge of power electronic products and solutions.
4. Good knowledge of assigned markets and customers.
5. Understanding of commercial/contract law.
6. Computer literacy.
7. Fluent in English.
