Responsibilities
- Develop and manage industrialization and validation plans, production plans, and production maturity plans (internal/external) including product quality.
- Lead creation and management of economic, scheduling, and quality performance plans.
- Participate in contract finalization and support negotiations for approvals, financing, and pricing adjustments related to industrialization.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements for manufacturing and supply‑chain activities.
- Manage cost and schedule during the development phase.
- Lead interdisciplinary industrialization teams and schedule activities along program milestones.
- Coordinate industrial validation processes (industrialization, APQP, etc.) and organize monitoring reviews.
- Develop and implement measures to reduce series production costs (budgeting, prioritization, scheduling).
- Support budgeting activities, including support budget and obsolescence planning.
- Create and maintain medium‑and long‑term forecasts (S&OP) based on the sales plan.
- Interface with customers on industrial topics: provide transparent, reliable delivery forecasts and consolidate production planning assumptions.
- Identify industrial risks and implement counter‑measures.
- Provide continuous feedback and lessons learned for programme and industrial teams.
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor’s degree in industrial, production, electrical, aerospace engineering or a comparable field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial project or production management.
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and managing complex industrial projects.
- Background in manufacturing, supply‑chain, or engineering, preferably within large enterprises.
- Excellent knowledge of industrialization, production, and supply‑chain management, ideally for mechatronic products.
- Proven experience managing industrialization projects, production ramp‑ups, and production increases.
- Strong expertise in quality‑management systems and industrial validation (e.g., APQP).
- Knowledge of industrial standards, audits, and technology‑readiness‑level assessments (MRL/TRL).
- Experience in contract management and customer support in an industrial environment.
- Experience in the aerospace industry or aircraft interiors is desirable.
- Strong project‑management and organizational skills; ability to manage complex projects with multiple work packages.
- Fluent in German and English (business proficient).
