Technical Systems Support Engineer (m/f/d) for Mission Systems
The Mission Systems (CC-S) division has an opening for a Technical Systems Support Engineer (m/f/d) for Mission Systems to start on September 1, 2026.
- Providing technical support for delivered airborne surveillance systems and ensuring operational readiness in the field
- Analyzing customer requirements and system behavior, as well as coordinating with operators and customers
- Fault analysis at the customer site and performing maintenance, updates, and upgrades on-site
- Processing and technical analysis of support requests in collaboration with specialist departments
- Participation in obsolescence management and development of solutions to ensure system availability
- Development and implementation of measures to extend the service life of existing systems
- Development of technical solutions as a basis for proposals, as well as validation of cost and quantity structures
- Coordination of support orders with purchasing, warehousing, and shipping, as well as monitoring of order fulfillment
Contribution to the further development of the support strategy, as well as the creation of standardized support contracts in collaboration with sales and department management
Your profile:
- Completed technical degree or comparable technical training
- Very good technical understanding and strong systems thinking
- Practical experience in troubleshooting as well as in updates and upgrades of complex technical systems
- Proficiency with common IT tools in the Microsoft environment
- Interest in aviation; initial industry-specific experience is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and internal departments, as well as a strong ability to work in a team
- Willingness to travel for international customer assignments
