Specialist in aeronautical engineering

We are the design organization in the AeroJones Group and an engineering service provider in the field of development, design, planning, construction, and flight testing of aircraft. Our main field of activity is the product support and further development of our LSA aircraft in modern FRP construction. In Strausberg, we lead and coordinate our international development team, and the AeroJones Group employs more than 50 people with locations in Germany, Ukraine, China, Taiwan, and the USA.

We are looking for permanent full-time employees (40 hours/week) with a degree in engineering in the field of aeronautical engineering.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master, Dipl.-Ing. or comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of English is required; Ukrainian language skills would be desirable
• Basic technical expertise and expertise in the design of aircraft in the following aspects: aerodynamics and/or flight mechanics and/or flight test and/or dimensioning is necessary
• You need special knowledge of CATIA and/or AutoCAD
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Word is necessary
• Knowledge of the legal regulations (laws, standards, etc.) in aviation is advantageous
• An independent, quality-conscious, and reliable work ethic, as well as good communication skills and motivation, are required

Your field of responsibility:

We have a variety of projects and we cover the entire complex area of aircraft development. Therefore, it is your task to manage projects independently and carry them out in cooperation with your colleagues, contributing your specialist knowledge and expertise and making them available to other colleagues. Tasks within the framework of a project could be, for example: the modifications of an aircraft component.

• Create a work instruction for production
• A strength analysis of a component
• An error analysis
• Technical documentation (e.g., drawings, manuals)
• Flight test planning and evaluation of flight test data

Your outlook would be to be used as a CVE to review and approve design changes.
