We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Analyst / Consultant. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute towards a sustainable future by passionately driving necessary change processes in the pulp and paper and adjacent industries within our Bioindustry ODT team.

Your responsibilities

  1. Diagnose, redesign, and implement operational excellence initiatives within the pulp and paper and related industries as part of a highly motivated international team of consultants focused on Operational Excellence Projects.
  2. Develop and facilitate client workshops to identify and address efficiency gaps in technical and administrative workstreams, as well as to (re)define core processes.
  3. Collaborate closely with clients to formulate core transformation strategies based on client data and employee insights.
  4. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency across production, supply chain, and maintenance; reduce process breaks; eliminate unnecessary interfaces; and create innovative solutions.
  5. Engage with complex process models, requiring an aptitude for IT and digital solutions.
  6. Support organizational transformation by identifying change management needs and working closely with clients and their employees.

Your profile

  1. Hold a university degree in business economics, paper technology, or engineering.
  2. Have gained initial experience in the pulp and paper or related industries through work or internships.
  3. Have a strong interest or experience in designing target operating models, organizational design, and process design from a consulting perspective.
  4. Possess an analytical and quantitative mindset with a strong affinity for IT and digital solutions.
  5. Be fluent in German and English (oral and written); additional language skills are a plus.
  6. Willingness to travel to client sites.
  7. Enjoy working with diverse teams, demonstrating enthusiasm for changing challenges, and collaborating effectively with others.
