  • For upcoming high-voltage infrastructure projects, we are looking for a:
  • Site HSE Manager (m/f/d) – High Voltage EPC Projects

You will lead on-site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities during the construction and commissioning of large-scale GIS/AIS substations and electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest safety standards across all project phases.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Implement and maintain site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management systems throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation, project specifications and client requirements
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve Site Safety Plans, risk assessments and safe working procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and workplace assessments
  • Coordinate HSE activities with construction managers, client representatives, subcontractors and project teams
  • Deliver site safety inductions and HSE training for all personnel entering the construction site
  • Monitor HSE KPIs, incident reporting and environmental performance
  • Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, continuous improvement and best practices
  • Ensure proper HSE documentation, reporting and record management throughout construction and commissioning activities

What You Bring

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in HSE management within construction, industrial or EPC project environments
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Experience developing Site Safety Plans, risk assessments and construction safety procedures
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
  • Experience with incident investigation, corrective actions and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience within turnkey infrastructure, power transmission or high-voltage substation projects is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of GIS/AIS substations or electrical infrastructure projects is considered a plus
  • Experience with document management systems and MS Office
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and engage multidisciplinary project teams
  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management and coordination abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in demanding site environments
  • High level of ownership, accountability and safety awareness
  • Fluent German (min. C1)
  • Good English skills (professional working proficiency)
