What You'll Do
Depending on your project assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for complex aerospace products and systems
- Preparation and revision of technical descriptions, instructions, manuals and engineering documentation
- Structuring complex technical information in a clear and understandable way
- Gathering technical information from engineering, development and specialist departments
- Independent coordination with engineers and technical stakeholders to clarify missing or unclear information
- Review and revision of existing technical documents
- Ensuring consistency, quality and completeness of documentation
- Working according to defined documentation processes, standards and customer requirements
- Management and maintenance of documentation throughout the product lifecycle
- Support with document reviews, changes and release processes
We are looking for someone with a technical background combined with strong documentation experience. Relevant backgrounds could include:
- Technical Documentation Engineer
- Documentation Engineer
- Technical Author
- Aerospace Documentation Specialist
- Engineer with significant technical documentation responsibility
What You Bring
- Professional experience in technical documentation / technical writing
- Ability to understand complex technical systems and communicate them clearly
- Experience working directly with engineers and technical departments
- Structured and precise documentation approach
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documents independently
- Very good German and/or English, depending on the documentation environment
- Willingness to work regularly onsite in Lindenberg
- Mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or systems-engineering background
- experience with regulated or safety-critical productstechnical documentation for complex machines, systems or components
- experience with structured documentation or XML-based documentation environments
- experience with documentation management systems
- understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and technical requirements
