About The Role

DZ PRIVATBANK is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to advance and optimize its reporting production. In this role, you will contribute throughout the reporting lifecycle, from conceptual analysis and interpretation of regulatory requirements through technical implementation and quality assurance. You will help ensure that regulatory and client-specific reports are accurate, fit for purpose, and supported by effective processes.

This position is suited to a seasoned professional who can take ownership of complex challenges, apply strong analytical and technical capabilities, and work collaboratively with a skilled, cross-functional team. You will also engage with clients, relevant authorities, and external service providers as part of the reporting process.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in finance, economics, business mathematics, business informatics, or a comparable field.
• At least five years of professional expertise in investment fund reporting regulations, including relevant frameworks such as AIFMD, PRIIPs, Solvency, or CRR.
• A strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and their implications for investment fund reporting.
• Well-developed analytical capabilities in big data, together with the technology expertise needed to work with complex data environments.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages is an advantage.
• Fluent German communication skills at C1 or C2 level, and confident English communication skills.
• A responsible, structured, and careful approach to work, supported by flexibility, teamwork, solution orientation, and the ability to understand new topics quickly.
• Curiosity about innovation and the motivation to use new approaches to improve processes and the working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for regulatory and individually tailored reports, translating business and compliance requirements into workable reporting solutions.
• Analyze regulatory developments and determine the adjustments required to reporting content, processes, and implementation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting production, identifying opportunities to make workflows more effective and reliable.
• Support reporting solutions from initial analysis and design through technical implementation and ongoing optimization.
• Establish and implement appropriate quality assurance measures to support the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reporting outputs.
• Lead interdisciplinary projects, coordinating contributors and helping move initiatives from planning to delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, competent authorities, and involved service providers on reporting-related matters.
• Apply your expertise to address complex challenges and contribute to practical, sustainable improvements within the reporting environment.
