About The Role
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer (m/w/d) who is eager to develop modern data platforms within cloud environments. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about data, interested in consulting, and looking to advance their careers in a stimulating setting. As part of our team, you will work on diverse projects that involve designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions. You will collaborate closely with experienced data experts and clients, gaining practical experience in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Your responsibilities will include supporting the planning and execution of data management solutions, contributing to the development of innovative data architectures, and assisting in data integration tasks. Qualifications

• Completed university degree, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Initial professional experience through internships, working student positions, or similar engagements.
• Proficiency in software development, particularly with Python, and experience with SQL.
• Basic understanding of data modeling and handling both relational and non-relational data sources.
• Interest in multi-cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills in German, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring complex cloud-based data management solutions.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of state-of-the-art data platforms and structures, leveraging technologies like Microsoft Azure or Snowflake.
• Develop and deploy robust data integration pipelines to unify data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytics and reporting.
• Support clients through advisory sessions and workshops, helping define requirements and optimal data architecture strategies.
• Engage in project work that involves real-world data challenges, applying modern tools and techniques to deliver innovative solutions.
• Participate in continuous learning initiatives to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.
