About The Role

As a Software Developer at be4solutions GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in the continuous development of a modern Java-based platform with significant growth potential. You will actively contribute your ideas and expertise to enhance the platform's capabilities, ensuring it remains robust, scalable, and innovative. Your responsibilities will include implementing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and maintaining high code quality within an agile, international development environment. You will serve as a technical sparring partner, supporting and coaching colleagues while sharing your knowledge to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture. Additionally, you will work closely with product management and architecture teams to shape the technological direction of the software, leveraging modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience developing demanding Java applications and a strong command of Java and the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot. You should possess hands-on experience with modern software architectures, including microservices and cloud-native applications. Knowledge of technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, or Maven is advantageous. A solid understanding of Clean Code principles, TDD/BDD methodologies, and agile development practices is essential. You should enjoy taking technical responsibility, mentoring other developers, and sharing your expertise. Proficiency in German and English, coupled with a solution-oriented and independent working style, will enable you to thrive in our dynamic environment.
