About The Role

As a key member of our Mobile App Platform team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the quality strategy for our Flutter-based mobile applications. This role emphasizes AI-driven quality assurance practices, where you will help revolutionize testing methodologies by introducing autonomous exploration, smarter test orchestration, and self-directed QA workflows. Your work will be instrumental in creating systems that enable our product teams to own quality end-to-end, ensuring that releases are reliable, efficient, and aligned with user needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing gaps, improve automation frameworks, and enhance the overall health of our testing infrastructure. Your innovative approach will help us shift quality assurance left, embedding quality into every stage of the development process and accelerating our ability to deliver high-quality products confidently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong user-centric approach to quality, with extensive experience in designing scalable testing strategies for mobile applications. You should have hands‑on expertise with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium and Flutter integration testing, along with cloud device farm services like BrowserStack. Practical knowledge of AI tools, large language models, and testing agents for autonomous exploration and defect analysis is highly desirable. A proven track record of integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions, is essential. You should be comfortable working in ambiguous environments, demonstrating high initiative and problem‑solving skills to develop solutions from scratch. Excellent communication skills in English are required, with bonus points for German language proficiency, experience in energy systems, IoT, climate tech, or deep Flutter/Dart architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will own the quality strategy for our Flutter mobile applications, overseeing testing architecture, execution, and monitoring across product teams. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape quality practices, identify testing gaps, and enable seamless shipping of reliable products. Your responsibilities include maintaining and expanding automated test suites using tools like Appium and BrowserStack, ensuring they remain fast, stable, and focused on critical user journeys. You will monitor and improve test infrastructure health by reducing flakiness, speeding up test runs, and providing actionable insights to engineering teams. Additionally, you will create and scale autonomous, AI‑driven testing workflows that proactively detect product risks before reaching users. Your role will involve designing scalable QA architectures, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and promoting a user‑centric approach to quality that emphasizes real‑world scenarios and risk mitigation.
