About The Role Accso is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join its consulting and software development projects. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions for a range of customer challenges. You will apply AI methods and tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including large language models, agentic frameworks, code generation, and test automation. You will contribute across the disciplines of software engineering, creating well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Working closely with colleagues and customers, you will help shape practical solutions, make informed technical decisions, and support the delivery of reliable software. Depending on project needs, you may work with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Spring, Kotlin, Maven, Gradle, and JUnit.
Qualifications You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline. You bring substantial, hands-on experience in professional software development and are comfortable contributing to modern engineering projects. You care about code quality and understand the importance of designing software that can be maintained, tested, and developed further. You enjoy working with agile approaches, such as Scrum or Design Thinking, and can collaborate constructively in a team. A proactive, pragmatic, and team-oriented mindset will help you contribute effectively to customer engagements. You communicate fluently in German, at least C1 level, and have very good English skills, at least B2 level.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement customer-specific software solutions in consulting and engineering projects. Apply AI methods and tools thoughtfully across the development process, evaluating how technologies such as LLMs and agentic frameworks can support effective engineering. Use code-generation and test-automation approaches where appropriate, while maintaining sound engineering practices and quality standards. Write efficient, well-structured, and testable code; contribute to technical concepts and implementation decisions; and collaborate with colleagues and customers to deliver dependable outcomes. Participate in agile teamwork and knowledge sharing, and remain open to learning new technologies and approaches as project requirements evolve.
