In this MSAT role, you drive technical leadership across LC column manufacturing, solving high-impact production challenges and boosting product consistency. You will bridge manufacturing, quality, R&D, and global teams to optimize processes, enable robust operations, and deliver data-driven improvements that raise quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll tackle root-cause investigations, transfer knowledge, and scale processes to support new products. This is a chance to shape chromatography performance across sites within a leading life-sciences instrumentation company.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Provide technical leadership for LC column manufacturing, including silica particle production/modification and packing/loading operations
  • Lead root-cause investigations for production issues affecting quality, throughput, yield, or customer performance
  • Apply chemistry, materials science, and engineering knowledge to understand process interactions and develop sustainable solutions
  • Use statistics, DOE, process capability metrics, and advanced data analytics to drive decisions
  • Improve process robustness and reduce variability via targeted improvements
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Product Management to resolve challenges and implement lifecycle improvements
  • Support technology transfer, scale-up, material changes, supplier changes, and new product introductions
  • Develop and maintain process knowledge, control strategies, and technical standards for consistent performance across sites
  • Drive value creation initiatives focusing on quality, delivery, capacity, and cost improvements
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and business stakeholders

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 4+ years in a manufacturing environment with process improvement experience
  • Experience applying data analysis and statistical tools to solve problems
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical investigations and implement corrective actions
