Overview
In this role, you support the Global Operations MSAT team to translate R&D innovations into scalable manufacturing for Agilent’s analytical instruments. You lead NPI and industrialization efforts, driving manufacturability, cost and quality improvements across global platforms. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust, scalable assemblies and test strategies, enabling smooth transfers to mass production. The position offers impact through platform standardization and technology transfer in a fast-paced environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as the central technical interface in NPI, coordinating stakeholders and representing manufacturing operations
- Lead transfer of new products from development to mass production
- Apply Design-for-Excellence (DfX) across cost, manufacturability, quality, and automation
- Collaborate with R&D on product development, validation, and manufacturability readiness
- Influence design for scalability, supply chain robustness, and manufacturability
- Define system-level manufacturing concepts, test strategies, and industrialization approaches
- Lead prototype ramp, reliability validation, and launch readiness evaluation
- Own complete instruments, assemblies, and modules within the MSAT platform team
- Serve as Technical Owner across lifecycle of platform processes
- Lead root cause investigations and systemic corrective actions
- Establish risk-based qualification strategies for step-function improvements
- Contribute to platform-level process standards and best practices
- Support development of scalable architectures for assembly, calibration, and testing
- Travel up to ~10% of the time
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- +4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Fluent German and strong English communication skills
- Proven project management and cross-functional team experience
- Solid understanding of complex technical systems and related development/manufacturing processes
- Experience with technical drawings and CAD tools
- Knowledge of FMEA, DoE, DfX, VE or similar methods is a plus
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions
