The Opportunity As
Head of Wealth Planning , you will be responsible for defining and developing the bank's Wealth Planning offering for the Swiss market.
This is a highly visible front‑office advisory role combining technical excellence, strategic business building, relationship manager support, and revenue generation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Private Banking, Legal, Asset Management, and other internal functions to deliver sophisticated, client‑centric wealth structuring solutions.
The role is particularly suited to an entrepreneurial professional who enjoys creating platforms, structuring advisory offerings, and acting as a trusted expert for complex HNW and entrepreneurial client situations.
Key Responsibilities Wealth Planning Platform Development
Define, structure, and build a dedicated
Swiss Wealth Planning offering
for resident private clients.
Enhance and expand existing solutions, including
vested benefits / pension‑related offerings .
Develop solutions across
Swiss pension planning (LPP/BVG, Pillar 3a / 3b), insurance‑based planning, and broader asset structuring strategies .
Create analytical frameworks, advisory tools, templates, and client documentation supporting the platform.
Advisory & Technical Expertise
Advise on complex wealth structuring matters involving entrepreneurs, private assets, succession, and insurance‑based solutions.
Provide expert‑level advice on
Swiss personal taxation, pension planning, inheritance, and succession matters .
Prepare bespoke recommendations and sophisticated structuring solutions for high‑value client situations.
Relationship Manager Support
Act as a senior subject matter expert supporting Relationship Managers in client acquisition and relationship development.
Participate in strategic client meetings involving complex wealth planning discussions.
Translate technically complex scenarios into practical, commercial, and client‑friendly solutions.
Business Development & Partnerships
Identify and develop partnership opportunities across pension, insurance, and wealth planning ecosystems.
Establish distribution relationships with
external asset managers, intermediaries, brokers, and corporate networks .
Contribute directly to revenue generation through advisory services, asset gathering, and acquisition of Swiss‑resident private clients.
Marketing & Thought Leadership
Define and execute the communication strategy for the Wealth Planning offering.
Develop presentations, solution sheets, educational materials, and expert content.
Deliver internal training sessions to Relationship Managers and internal teams.
Produce thought leadership content for clients and prospects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience
in Wealth Planning / Wealth Structuring.
Deep expertise in
Swiss personal taxation , wealth structuring, and pension planning.
Strong knowledge of
LPP/BVG, vested benefits, Pillar 3a / 3b solutions, and insurance planning structures .
Good understanding of
Swiss inheritance and succession law .
Proven experience advising
HNWIs, entrepreneurial families, and complex private client structures .
Demonstrated ability to build or scale a business offering within an entrepreneurial environment.
Commercially minded with strong relationship‑building capabilities.
Fluent in
French and English ; German is a strong plus.
