A German federal technology company in central Berlin is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer on a permanent contract.
This is a private cloud platform built and run in-house. Not a managed public cloud estate.

What you will do
- Design, build and configure CI/CD pipelines and keep deployments running cleanly
- Implement application and user security with LDAP, SAML2, OIDC and Keycloak
- Build, operate and maintain Postgres and MariaDB
- Automate deployments using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize and ArgoCD
- Deploy and operate GitLab, Artifactory, Vault, Argo Workflows and Superset
- Run on-premise secrets, password, repository and source code management
- Work with the Quality team on test automation
- Take technical ownership of Private Cloud Platform services
What you need
- Computer science degree or Fachinformatiker qualification with comparable practical experience
- Confident with Kubernetes manifests, Helm and Kustomize
- Working knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
- Strong CI/CD experience, particularly Day 2 operations
- Hands-on container orchestration — Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Agile delivery experience — Scrum or Kanban
- German at C1 or above, written and spoken
