To enhance our Commercial Excellence department at our Vienna site, we are seeking a dedicated
Pricing Excellence Manager
(m/f/d) to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
In this position you will strengthen profitability across the group by developing more transparent, structured and market‑ and value‑based pricing approaches. Supporting divisions in identifying and capturing margin improvement opportunities, particularly in the context of raw material‑driven pricing dynamics.
Your responsibilities
You drive and support
pricing and margin improvement initiatives
across the group, including the development of more structured pricing approaches and the alignment of pricing with raw material mechanisms in close collaboration with the divisions
You
analyze price, margin and customer performance
across markets, segments and accounts and develop data‑driven models and simulations to identify and quantify profitability improvement potential
Translate insights into impact
by supporting and driving the implementation of pricing improvements (e.g. price realization, discount structures, segment differentiation) together with the business
You act as a
data‑driven sparring partner
for sales and business leadership, providing fact‑based input and supporting selected strategic pricing or deal situations
Develop and support more differentiated , segment‑based and value‑oriented pricing approaches,
aligned with market dynamics and customer willingness‑to‑pay
Your profile
Completed higher education (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field)
At least 3 years of professional experience in pricing, commercial excellence, strategy consulting or similar analytical role
Strong track record in driving pricing, margin improvement, or revenue optimization initiatives
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data modeling, pricing analytics, or BI tools is a strong advantage
Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of financial drivers (price, volume, margin)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior management and sales teams
Proven project management skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an international environment
Experience in FMCG, agriculture, or raw material‑driven industries is a plus
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
