To enhance our Commercial Excellence department at our Vienna site, we are seeking a dedicated
Sales Excellence Manager
(m/f/d) to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
In this position you will drive the shift towards a more market‑and customer‑centric sales approach across the group, derived from clear strategic priorities for markets and customer segments. You support divisions in translating these into more structured, insight‑driven and effective sales practices along the customer journey and act as a central driver of commercial excellence and transformation across divisions.
Your responsibilities
You support our divisions in
strengthening a customer‑and market‑oriented sales approach
by helping to prioritize customer segments and define targeted go-to-market strategies.
Take ownership of workstreams within commercial transformation programs, including leading cross‑divisional initiatives, ensuring delivery, stakeholder alignment and measurable impact.
You work closely with divisional sales teams to
develop and continuously improve sales methodologies, frameworks and tools along the customer journey
(e.g. for lead qualification, opportunity management, account development), empowering divisions to execute effectively.
You establish and
implement common sales practices and standards
where beneficial, ensuring a consistent level of quality in customer interactions across the group.
You support the
development and enhancement of key account management approaches
and structures, tailored to different markets and customer segments.
Design and enhance
sales performance management frameworks
(e.g. pipeline health, forecasting logic, KPIs) to enable effective steering by the divisions.
You monitor commercial performance indicators such as pipeline quality, conversion rates and forecast accuracy, and derive concrete improvement actions together with the divisions.
Your profile
Completed higher education (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field)
At least 5 years of professional experience in commercial excellence, sales excellence, strategy consulting or a similar strategic and analytical role
Strong track record in driving sales excellence and commercial transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of sales processes, customer journeys and key account management
Experience in sales performance management, forecasting, pipeline management and sales planning
Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM systems, Excel and BI tools
Experience in driving change in complex international matrix organizations
Experience in FMCG, agriculture, or raw material-driven industries is a plus
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
