As Group Category Manager Chemicals, you will own the Chemicals category strategy for the AGRANA Group and steer both strategic and tactical procurement. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape category initiatives, optimize supplier performance, and govern the supplier lifecycle from identification to contracts. You will lead tendering, negotiations, and master data governance while supporting group-wide procurement projects. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Assume strategic responsibility for the Chemicals category across the AGRANA Group
- Develop and refine the category strategy with market analyses, KPIs, and optimization potential
- Collaborate with internal functions to implement strategic initiatives
- Manage supplier lifecycle: identification, qualification, evaluation, development, and contract management
- Execute tactical procurement activities: demand planning, tenders, price and contract negotiations, and documentation
- Oversee framework agreements and master data for effective implementation
- Support group-wide procurement projects and initiatives
- Prepare performance reports and provide decision-ready analyses to management
- Coordinate cross-divisional procurement activities related to chemicals
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic and tactical procurement
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP; SRM experience is advantageous
- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset
- Experience in project management and initiative
- Strong communication and teamwork with a proactive mindset
- Willingness to travel ~20%
